Our story

Free SAT prep, run by students.

SATurday Scholars is a free, student-run SAT preparation program founded by Chiara Zimmermann, a high school senior in Brooklyn. The goal is simple: make good SAT preparation available to students who don’t have access to private tutors.

Classes meet online every Saturday. Each session combines a short lesson with small-group practice, where students work through real SAT questions and explain their reasoning to one another.

This peer-led format is at the heart of the program. Students who learn a concept one week help teach it the next, and experienced students can go on to train as tutors themselves.
